Design Services

How it works:  

Step 1: Project questionnaire and Discovery Call 

If you are interested in working with me, have questions about the process, or want to get an initial price quote, start by filling out the project questionnaire and I’ll schedule a time for a 30min discovery call to chat through all the options!

Step 2: New Client Project Assessment

Once you decide to move forward, the next step is to have a New Client Project Assessment. This involves an in-person, onsite meeting (or virtual if necessary) where we look at your space or plans and talk through initial details. This conversation typically takes about 2 hours.

This initial meeting will cover the following topics:

  • Scope of project, how the design process works, and timeline estimates

  • Overall design concepts, aesthetic preferences, and specific goals for your spaces

  • Initial details of a contract and overall pricing estimates.

For Design Consulting projects, there is a $250.00 fee for this assessment. This fee is waived for Full Service Design Projects. 

Step 3: Contract and Signing

After the New Client Project Assessment, I will work up and send to you a contract proposal that includes a quote and details on the scope of services. After you review it and any questions are answered or changes made, you will sign it and pay the initial deposit. We will then begin the project! 

Step 4: Design and implementation 

Once the contract is signed, the fun begins!

This is when I take all the information we have discussed about your space and goals and we begin the back and forth process of creating and bringing the idea and design boards to life. We will meet regularly to discuss the design options and get feedback from you. Once a design has been selected, I will work to source, purchase, and install your design. 

Full Service Design

This is the ideal service for clients who trust a design professional to guide them through each step and phase of the design process from ideation to sourcing, to purchasing and installation. Whether you are looking to refresh decor, or dive head first into a home renovation, or a new construction build, I am are here to help you transform your space into a place that you love and is unique to you. 

The full service design is just that. Take the guesswork out of piecing you designs and spaces together and let me guide you through each step of the design process. You will be able to enjoy your project, and more importantly the final product, without the stress of managing the design process.

What to expect: Digital design boards, client based feedback and collaborative selection processes, procurement and purchasing, coordinating with your contractor, installation of products and materials, professional expertise each step of the way. 

Full Service Design fees are typically based on square footage of the space and the scope of the project. All design fees do not include the cost of products or labor. 

Design Consulting

This is the ideal service for clients who need an expert eye to help them make design decisions.

Whether it's choosing that perfect paint palette, a new sofa, assisting with layout recommendations, updating your furniture and decor, styling a room, or smaller scope projects that you would like to execute on your own, I am here to lend our design expertise one on one and help you think through what works best for you and your space.

This service offers flexible pricing for a variety of services that do not fall under our full service design. This service is more informal and flexible and yet gives you access to a professional designer to help you with your project. You can expect a tailored scope of work to fit your needs and budget along with expert design advice to make you space meet all your goals and desires.

Commercial Property Audit

Want to attract more business in a competitive vacation properties and rental market? Looking to raise your rates by updating your space? This service is for individuals that have current rental property that would like to take their space to the next level of luxury and hospitality. Let my experienced designer perspective enable your space to be more hospitable, beautiful, and comfortable for your guests.

This service involves me visiting your space and completing a comprehensive audit of your rental property. From suggesting some interior updates, to helping you think through what amenities will make your space more hospitable for your clients, I will lend you my design expertise to help your space reach its greatest potential.

A comprehensive report will provide you with a detailed design scope of what your space needs and how you can improve your rental property. 

Fees are based on the size of the property and only includes the audit report. Additional design updates, purchasing, and consulting are available if desired.

  • You will be invoiced for all hourly or project based costs. Typically, full service design work will be billed in 3 payments spread across the project timeline. The first is due upon signing the contract, the second payment is half way through the project and the final, at completion of project. Invoicing for hourly work and project purchases will be emailed monthly to the client and is due with in one week of receipt.

  • Yes, I do take projects beyond central Ohio where we are located. Due to the travel invloved, I have limited availability for these projects per year. These projects typical involve additional fees for travel costs.

  • Well, lucky for you, that is exactly what my job is! I come along side of you to guide you through this process. Your new client interview will help me gather important information to help you decide on a design style that best suits your needs, likes and preferences.

  • It is my job as the designer to be a good investigator. I will spend time learning about you and your space as I gather information about your style, goals, space, budget, etc. From there, the information is distilled down to digital design boards and visuals for you to consider and process with me. Once we have agreed on a direction, I will source and purchase the items needed. I will work with the contractors that you have selected to oversee any skilled work that is needed like painting, wallpaper, plumbing, electrical, etc. In most cases, I will be on site for the final stages to set up and install all of the design items and style each space.
